When Caribbean fares actually drop (and when they never do)

Caribbean pricing runs on a rhythm as reliable as the tides. Learn it once and you'll never overpay for paradise again.

The premium months

Mid-December through Easter is high season: dry weather, snowbird demand, and fares to match. Christmas and spring break weeks are the peak of the peak — book those 3–4 months out or pay dearly.

The sweet spots

Late April through June and the month of November are the insider windows: hurricane-season pricing hasn't fully arrived (or has just left), but the weather is still excellent. This is when we send value-hunters.

The deep-discount window

Late August through October is hurricane season, and fares fall 30–50%. Modern forecasting gives days of warning, travel insurance covers the rest, and resorts roll out their best rates. Flexible travelers feast.

The airline effect

Routes fought over by Southwest, JetBlue, Spirit and the legacies (Cancun, San Juan, Montego Bay) stay cheap year-round. Single-carrier islands stay expensive year-round. Sometimes the smart move is a cheap flight plus a short hop.

Tell us your beach standards and your flexibility, and we'll tell you the cheapest week that still delivers the postcard.
